Job description

  • Design, execute, and evaluate scientific experiments appropriate to project objectives
  • Operate advanced mass-spectrometry instrumentation
  • Process, analyze and interpret proteomics data
  • Prepare research findings for scientific publications
  • Contribute to new research proposals
  • Contribute scientific expertise to various projects
  • Participate in the intellectual life of ISB by attending and presenting at seminars and talks
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • A Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline
  • Track record of peer-reviewed scientific publications
  • Extensive experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics
  • Strong expertise in phospho-proteomic workflows, including phospho-peptide enrichment and data analysis
  • Expertise operating mass-spectrometry instrumentation
  • Experience with mammalian and/or bacterial cell culture
  • Experience in protein expression and purification
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams, adapt to evolving priorities, and manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
