The FBI does not typically hire behavior analysts as a standalone role but employs criminal behavioral analysts within specialized units like the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU). These professionals often have backgrounds in psychology, forensic science, or related fields and may require advanced degrees and security clearances. They analyze criminal behavior to assist investigations and threat assessments.
