PBGH currently has a great opportunity for an Associate Account Executive. The Associate Account Executive is responsible for managing and executing strategies/initiatives to achieve financial and business performance goals by account, resulting in the growth and development of a profitable business.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Plan, manage and execute sales and merchandising strategy
  • Forecast sales projections on a seasonal and annual basis tied to budgets
  • Increase business opportunities within the appropriate channels of distribution
  • Sell into inventory
  • Open to buy management including forecasting/ planning sales, markdowns and receipts
  • Foster close professional relationships with retailers to successfully manage the business
  • Develop expert knowledge of the competitive landscape, including merchandising and pricing
  • Propose new business opportunities and drive business by analyzing and reacting to selling performance and capitalizing on available inventory
  • Partner with Retail Development and visit stores periodically to confirm optimal store placement, competitive adjacencies, sales support and see merchandise new deliveries
  • Partner with Replenishment Analyst to monitor sales and fill rates of account to ensure they are in line in order to maximize profit
  • Proactively track/ manage processing of confirmations and shipping
  • Develop and present product ideas and concepts tied to individual account events/ needs
  • Optimize organic growth in existing doors and plan and present ideas for further expansion
  • Monitor accounts performance at retail and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Develop strong relationships with buyers, associate buyers and planners in key accounts through daily communication to enhance information exchange and negotiations
  • Communicate with internal departments to include customer service, planning, retail development, design and marketing at varying levels for exchange of information related to brands.
  • May oversee, lead and develop a Sales Assistant
  • Must be able to work in a team environment/ exchange information with colleagues
  • Meet or exceed financial goals of accounts of responsibility
  • Successfully execute strategies that drive business in accounts of responsibility
  • Sell into inventory- minimize oversold and maximize profit
