The Associate Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining and growing FAF’s sales volume, while being the central contact person responsible for account performance, service, profitability, as well as, nurturing a long term relationship with assigned accounts.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow the business with assigned accounts and generate new business, while being on top of industry & competitive trends in Sales & Merchandising
  • Be focused on increasing market share and sell through within assigned accounts
  • Research market opportunities and foster growth ideas within the company for assigned accounts
  • Follow consumer trends in buying and define vision and strategy for growth
  • Work very closely with Creativity and Operations departments to ensure that all customer needs are being met or exceeded on a continual basis
  • Review and analyze customer sales reports and provide all line review changes recommendations
  • Monitor and manage all current and future sales reporting and informational demands
  • Using the sales and support staff, ensure that FAF is always plugged into the customer’s shifting needs and expectations
  • Learn to speak the language of each customer, utilizing metrics and concepts that are important to each customer
  • Utilize FAF’s tools and capabilities to help each customer achieve their financial and non-financial goals
  • Be the liaison to assigned customers’ buying and execution teams in order to field and resolve requests including new products, new programs, sales analysis, order status and on-going business maintenance
  • Monitor the status of FAF’s monthly, quarterly and annual sales performance and communicate findings to the Senior Management team, including annual sales projections and budgets
  • Create a strong customer centric culture within the team you manage
  • Lead, manage and mentor your team members with a focus on improving performance and motivation, while providing tools, resources, training and incentives for effectiveness and growth
  • Responsible for the departmental budget as it relates to each account
  • Work in parallel to other in house sales teams to balance company resources and the drive the company’s entire growth path
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or directed


SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • A minimum Associates Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field
  • A minimum 3-5 years relevant experience in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or related with a focus on results driven communication
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, communicate, exercise diplomacy, as well as sell and maintain a high level professional sales relationship with demanding high profile global retailers
  • Ability to give direction to product development & merchandising teams to achieve necessary results
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other departments within the company
  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate direct reports
  • A strong understanding of department and corporate strategic goals
  • Ability to participate and contribute during cross functional meetings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with team members at various levels
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills are required, as well as, the ability to quickly change path based on customer demands
  • Domestic travel is required up to 30% of the time
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Dynamics/D365
  • Proficiency or the ability to learn AX
