Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a proactive, highly organized Senior Executive Assistant to support their CEO in a fast-paced, hybrid startup environment. This role serves as a trusted partner to the CEO, helping manage priorities, streamline communication, coordinate key activities, and create the structure that enables the CEO to focus on the highest-impact work.

This is a remote position. From time to time the employee may be asked to attend in person meetings or events as business needs require.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and optimize the CEO's calendar, ensuring priorities align with business needs.
  • Monitor and manage the CEO's inbox, including drafting and responding to communications when appropriate.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and track follow-up actions.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Plan and execute team meetings, offsites, retreats, and company events.
  • Support the CEO's professional social media presence and content scheduling.
  • Maintain visibility into key initiatives and help drive accountability for commitments and deadlines.
  • Improve processes and systems that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support special projects and operational priorities as needed.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • 3-5+ years supporting senior executives, including direct support of a CEO.
  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or entrepreneurial environment preferred.
  • Experience coordinating executive travel, events, and complex scheduling.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and virtual collaboration tools.
