CLIENT

Our client, a global alternative investment firm, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support a senior leader and a growing Investor Relations/Fundraising team in New York. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a build-out environment, as the role combines high-level executive support with office operations responsibilities. The position offers significant visibility across the business and the chance to help shape the firm's growing U.S. presence.

ROLE

  • Provide high-level administrative support to a Managing Director and the Investor Relations/Fundraising team
  • Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
  • Schedule internal and external meetings, investor meetings, and conference calls
  • Support investor events, roadshows, offsites, and team initiatives
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up action items
  • Process expenses and reimbursements
  • Serve as a liaison between senior executives, internal teams, investors, and external partners
  • Support day-to-day office operations, including vendor management, supplies, and logistics
  • Assist with establishing and improving office processes and workflows
  • Support an upcoming office relocation and transition to a permanent New York office
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the overall office experience

CANDIDATE

  • 8+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting senior executives
  • Financial services experience preferred, including private equity, investment management, asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking
  • Experience supporting Investor Relations, fundraising, or client-facing teams is a plus, but not required
  • Strong calendar management, travel coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter who is comfortable working independently
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resourceful approach
  • Comfortable operating in a growing, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Demonstrated career stability and progression

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $130,000 - $150,000 base salary
  • Discretionary annual bonus
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Hybrid schedule initially, transitioning to full-time in-office as the New York office is established
  • Opportunity to join as the first U.S.-based Executive Assistant and play a key role in the growth of the office
  • High-visibility position supporting a growing Investor Relations and Fundraising function
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial, and international culture
