Job description

Schedule:  Monday - Thursday, up to 4 hours a day.
                   Lincoln/McGuffey PK-8 Sites:  3:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
                   Jefferson/Willard PK-8 Sites:   4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:



  1. Bachelor's Degree.
  2. Knowledge and ability to manage a 21st Century Community Learning Center site program.
  3. Experience working with school aged children and teachers.
  4. Ability to perform duties requiring strictest confidentiality.
  5. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.


Additional Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Education.
  2. Supervisory and managerial experience.


Supervision Received:  Explicit oral and written instructions are received from Supervisor of Community Outreach and Grant Development and the 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Manager.
Site Coordinator Duties:


  1. Oversee building program when Program Manager is not present including academic, recreational, and parent programs.
  2. Teach a subject in the program and substitute for program teachers and activity leaders.
  3. Administer and collect surveys and other data collection tools as per program manager.
  4. Keep daily accurate attendance records of students in program.
  5. Supervise parent liaisons to make phone contacts and plan parent programs.
  6. Supervise Community Based Organizations and students during recreational periods.
  7. Work with activity leaders to develop independent activities when Community Based Organizations are not scheduled.
  8. Assign and monitor liaisons, activity leaders and students.
  9. Monitor all day care licensing requirements on a daily basis.
  10. Attend and plan all monthly professional development sessions.
  11. Check and collect all teacher lesson plans for program.
  12. Abide by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Warren Board of Education.
  13. Perform all other relevant duties as may be assigned by Supervisor of Community Outreach and Grant Development, 21st Century Community Learning Center Program Manager, Superintendent/CEO, or his/her designee.


Salary:  $31.87 per hour
*Employment upon verification of proper certificate, BCI/FBI background checks and all other pre-employment requirements are met.
