Job description

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intrusion monitoring and access control for global Company locations, using security and event management software, video monitoring, and guest registration systems. Respond to monitoring system events and dispatch security personnel and/or technicians as needed to resolve issues. 
  • Provide direction and training to security officers, working closely with vendor management to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Produce high-quality, clear and timely documentation of incidents and events, providing leadership with the best information for decision making.
  • Maintain and update APC equipment and inventory ensuring optimal condition and maximum availability.
  • Direct security officers, medical staff, and other key support personnel during medical situations and other emergencies. When needed, respond to medical emergencies and provide care using skills acquired in First Aid/CPR/AED training.
  • Monitor communication channels including phone, email and chat accounts, as well as radio traffic for Company headquarters, satellite locations, and local police. Handle after-hours call and request routing via Company main phone line in absence of phone operators. Send appropriate messaging through mass communication applications when needed.
  • Assist the Facilities team with monitoring fire and elevator systems, conducting hot work/work at height program including data entry for record-keeping and audit, and dispatch of maintenance personnel.
  • Monitor local and global newsfeeds for any events that may affect Company travelers or sites. Use monitoring and geolocation alert solution and 24/7 security and health service to update operations team and leadership on status of travelers.
  • Provide badging support upon request including activation and deactivation of credentials.

Education: High school diploma; GED equivalent 

Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
