ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join a team of dedicated professionals in the financial services sector, working on Treasury Workstation solutions that support critical treasury operations and banking integrations. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of treasury-related processes, ensuring efficient bank statement and payment flows between banking systems and Treasury Workstation platforms.
You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, implement system enhancements, and support treasury operations through data transformation, bank statement processing, and system integrations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Analyze business and technical requirements related to treasury processes, with a focus on bank statement ingestion and conversion (e.g., MT940 format).
  • Configure, develop, and maintain code changes within the Treasury domain for bank statement parsing, transformation, and standardization.
  • Implement data mapping, validation, and transformation logic for various bank file formats.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and macros (e.g., Excel VBA) to support operational processes and data validation activities.
  • Design and implement integrations using file-based interfaces, APIs, and batch processing mechanisms.
  • Create and maintain custom stored procedures and technical solutions to support project requirements.
  • Participate in testing, defect resolution, user acceptance testing, and go-live activities.
  • Ensure adherence to software development best practices, technical standards, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, implementation guides, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality treasury solutions.

WHAT WE EXPECT:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development, preferably within banking, treasury, or financial services environments.
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Excel VBA or similar technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of file parsing, data transformation, and processing of CSV, XML, TXT, and similar formats.
  • Experience with system integrations, including file-based integrations, APIs, and batch processing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, delivery-focused mindset.

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Hands-on experience with bank statement formats such as MT940, MT942, and CAMT.
  • Understanding of SWIFT standards and message structures.
  • Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, payments, or accounting principles.
  • Experience working with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or Treasury Workstation platforms.
