Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist for one of our customers located in Roseville, California. This position is 100% in-office! The role will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our construction projects while adhering to all relevant regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Verify and audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers and HR to gather necessary payroll information.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist. Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) would be a plus
  • Construction Industry experience required
  • LCP Tracker experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook & Excel - Intermediate/Advanced)
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and reporting requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
