About the Role

The Test Security Specialist/Exam Proctor is responsible for carrying out all tasks associated with the administration of remote proctoring for PSI’s computer-based examinations across the US. To serve remote customers and exam-takers effectively, the Test Security Specialist must have a flexible approach to working hours and arrangements. The role will require availability to align with general test center opening hours but may include late evenings and weekends on occasion.

Role Responsibilities

  • Remotely proctor a variety of high stakes exams.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all exams administered.
  • Responsible for promoting and maintaining the highest level of exam security
  • Writes detailed reports and correspondence for all incidents encountered during an exam.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly queue performance reporting.
  • Assist in responding to Customer Service calls and live chat as needed.
  • Work and communicate effectively with various levels of management.
  • Other duties within scope of the Online Assessments team as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a customer service role required.
  • Experience in testing environment or invigilation/proctoring desirable.
  • Computer literacy required, skills in Microsoft Office software are desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions.
  • Evidence of ability and experience in identifying, evaluating and troubleshooting potential problems for customers.
