Job Title: Monitor Technician / Virtual Sitter

Schedule: Rotating Shifts | 40 Hours Weekly
(Combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, weekends included)
Position Overview
is seeking an experienced and certified Monitor Technician / Virtual Sitter for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiac monitoring skills, the ability to work rotating shifts, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
  • Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and identify abnormalities
  • Accurately interpret and document EKG rhythms
  • Communicate significant rhythm changes promptly to clinical staff
  • Provide virtual patient observation and support as assigned
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Cerner EMR system
  • Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
  • Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and compliance requirements
Requirements
  • Current active state license/certification required
  • Must be certified as a Monitor Technician
  • Successful completion of facility EKG exam during orientation
  • Minimum of 4 years of recent Monitor Tech experience
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Assignment Details
  • Guaranteed 32 hours per week
  • Rotating shift schedule
  • Holiday coverage required
  • Overtime available after 40 hours worked per week
