Escuela Avancemos Academy is seeking a 6th-7th-grade Certified Math Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
Escuela Avancemos! is a Kโ€“8 Academy located in the heart of Southwest Detroit, proudly serving a diverse community with a high population of English as a Second Language (ESL) learners. We are seeking passionate, culturally responsive educators who are committed to helping all students achieve at the highest levels through rigorous instruction, restorative practices, and intentional language development support.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction that supports both academic achievement and English language development.ย

  • Be actively enrolled in and making satisfactory progress toward obtaining a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with a Middle-Level Mathematics (EX) Endorsement in accordance with Michigan Department of Education requirements.
