Job Summary

The Vice President, Finance Strategy & Integration serves as a senior strategic partner to the EVP, Finance, helping translate enterprise priorities into integrated plans, cross-functional execution, and measurable outcomes. This role supports a broad portfolio that includes finance planning projects, capital oversight initiatives, strategic enterprise priorities, real estate planning, and facilities planning. Reporting directly to the EVP, Finance, the role acts as a central integrator across stakeholders, ensuring that major initiatives are sequenced thoughtfully, governed effectively, and aligned to financial, operational, and organizational goals. 

While the role includes strong program governance and project management disciplines, its primary value is as a strategic planner, thought partner, and enterprise integrator. The successful candidate will bring the judgment to connect long-range planning with near-term execution, the credibility to influence senior leaders across functions, and the discipline to drive clarity, accountability, and progress across a complex portfolio of work. 

Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Finance Integration

  • Partner directly with the EVP, Finance to shape, prioritize, and advance key finance planning projects and enterprise strategic initiatives.
  • Translate strategic goals into integrated roadmaps, decision frameworks, milestones, and governance mechanisms that support high-quality execution.
  • Identify interdependencies, risks, tradeoffs, and sequencing considerations across finance, operations, real estate, facilities, and other corporate functions.
  • Develop executive-ready materials, recommendations, and insights that enable the EVP, Finance and senior leadership to make informed decisions quickly and confidently.

Portfolio Governance & Execution

  • Lead portfolio governance across a range of initiatives, establishing clear ownership, timelines, decision points, and escalation paths.
  • Apply strong PMO discipline through integrated plans, reporting cadences, issue management, and executive dashboards that improve transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams to ensure initiatives remain aligned, dependencies are actively managed, and outcomes stay tied to strategic intent.
  • Monitor progress against objectives, proactively address barriers, and provide the EVP, Finance with concise recommendations to keep priority work moving.

Capital Oversight, Real Estate & Facilities Planning

  • Support capital oversight projects by bringing structure, analysis, and governance to investment planning, prioritization, and tracking.
  • Partner with Finance, real estate, and facilities leaders to develop integrated plans for site strategy, space planning, facilities investments, and related operational requirements.
  • Ensure major real estate and facilities initiatives are evaluated through a strategic and financial lens, with clear business rationale, cost implications, and execution plans.
  • Create visibility into key milestones, investment decisions, and implementation risks across the capital, real estate, and facilities portfolio.

Executive Stakeholder Leadership & Change Enablement 

  • Build credibility and alignment with senior leaders across Finance, Operations, HR, IT, Legal, and Corporate Services to advance complex, cross-functional priorities.
  • Facilitate structured decision-making, ensure follow-through on commitments, and help leaders navigate tradeoffs, ambiguity, and changing priorities.
  • Develop clear communications, updates, and briefing materials that keep stakeholders informed and aligned on objectives, timing, and implications.
  • Help drive change adoption by ensuring initiatives are implemented with clarity, coordination, and an understanding of organizational impact.

Operating Cadence & Management Systems 

  • Establish repeatable management rhythms, planning processes, and reporting structures that strengthen execution across the EVP, Finance portfolio.
  • Improve prioritization and operating discipline by creating practical frameworks for tracking decisions, actions, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Use data, milestones, and performance indicators to assess initiative health and recommend adjustments where needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement in how strategic work is planned, governed, and executed across the organization.

Enterprise Integration & Senior Representation

  • Act as an integration point across functions, ensuring strategic initiatives sponsored by the EVP, Finance are coordinated effectively and executed cohesively.
  • Represent the EVP, Finance in planning forums, working sessions, and cross-functional reviews as delegated.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, Operations, or a related field. 
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategic planning, finance transformation, corporate strategy, business operations, PMO, or related enterprise roles. 
  • Demonstrated success supporting senior executives and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives that require alignment across multiple stakeholders. 
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with planning processes, capital-related initiatives, or enterprise investment decisions. 
  • Exceptional executive communication, influence, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to bring clarity and direction in ambiguous environments. 
  • Experience creating management systems, governance processes, and reporting mechanisms that improve execution at scale. 

Preferred 

  • Master's degree or MBA. 
  • Experience supporting a CFO, EVP, or other senior enterprise executive in a strategic planning, chief of staff, transformation, or integration capacity. 
  • Background in capital planning, real estate strategy, facilities planning, or corporate services transformation. 
  • Formal training or certification in program management, strategy execution, or change leadership. 
  • Experience operating successfully in highly matrixed, fast-moving environments where influence and integration are critical.

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in New York is $178,500.00 - $255,000.00 / year. For other locations, please inquire with your recruiter. The rates/ranges provided herein are the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and do not reflect future job opportunity.
