Work Location: Must reside within 30 minutes of 485 Industrial Ave, 3rd Floor, Teterboro, NJ 07608
Schedule: Part-time, On-call availability required Sign-On Bonus: $1,000


How You Will Be Rewarded as an On-Call Driver

  • Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $25/hour.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $500 after 90 days + $500 after 180 days
  • Benefits: Medical (Cigna), Dental, Vision, 401k (5% match w/immediate vesting), HSA & FSA, employer paid Life & AD&D benefits
  • Sick Time: Employer paid sick time

Key Responsibilities of an On-Call Driver

  • Provide professional ground transportation for surgical teams, specimens, and critical medical equipment
  • Ensure timely pick-ups and deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and TAM operational procedures
  • Perform vehicle safety checks and fleet maintenance tasks
  • Maintain constant communication with logistics coordinators and respond to dispatch calls within 10 minutes
  • Handle medical specimens and sensitive cargo with utmost care and precision

Qualifications & Skills of an On-Call Driver

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean 39-month driving record
  • 2+ years of driving experience
  • EVOC Certification required
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
  • Experience in medical transport, logistics, or professional driving a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
  • Reliable cell phone access and availability for on-call shifts
