Job description

The East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) is a public Career and Technical Education District (CTED) providing tuition-free career and technical education (CTE) programs to high school students - public, charter, and home-schooled - and tuition-based programs to adults who reside in 11 school districts in the East Valley of the Phoenix metropolitan area.
EVIT offers over 40 CTE programs at four centralized campuses. Centralized campus programs provide two to four hours of hands-on training every day and prepare students for professional certification and licensing exams. EVIT students who complete their training have a 98 percent high school graduation rate and 90 percent on average are in jobs related to their training, college or the military within a year. Two out of three EVIT students go on to college.
EVIT Volunteers, Power Campus:
Description: 


Provide Volunteer Services and support for EVIT students in a variety of areas which include office/classroom support, chaperoning an activity or event, or any other opportunities offered throughout the district.
Volunteers are required to complete all required processing prior to beginning service with students.
Volunteers serve under the direct supervision of a certified staff member at all times. 
The supervising staff member will define the responsibilities of the volunteer.

  2. Contact Site Administration: Once your application is complete, please send an email to humanresources@evit.com, to let our HR Generalist know that your application has been submitted. You will then receive a phone call to discuss he next steps in the process including applying for an IVP fingerprint card, and completeing the volunteer packet. 
  3. Processing Appointment:  Our Human Resouce Generalist will contact you to set a processing appointment when all steps are completed.
