Primo Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specifically licensed as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, to provide exceptional telehealth support to our clients in Aurora, Colorado. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, encompassing psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Collaborate with clients to design tailored treatment plans that prioritize their individual needs, objectives, and cultural considerations, ensuring effective personalized care.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions using frameworks such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) in various settings, including individual, couple, family, and group therapy formats.
• Provide crisis intervention services and coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to facilitate continuous care for clients facing acute distress.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with our regulatory guidelines.
• Deliver psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with essential skills and understanding to effectively manage mental health challenges.
• Engage in collaborative practices with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness through regular outcome assessments, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to align with client progress.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, actively integrating this knowledge into your clinical practice.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and ensure the confidentiality of client information at all times.

We provide mental health counseling to a diverse clientele within the Aurora community and beyond, focusing on individuals who have encountered trauma and adversity. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, and our approach ensures we respect and integrate their unique perspectives into their care.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on trauma-informed counseling and the implementation of evidence-based therapeutic practices is preferred.

• The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, reflecting qualifications and experience.
