Your working days will unfold in our welcoming outpatient office located in the scenic area of Winchester, Virginia. This onsite role allows you to engage directly with patients, providing an interactive and fulfilling work atmosphere. As a Physical Therapist at Better Everyday Clinic, you will be tasked with:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions, symptoms, and personal goals.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and developing tailored treatment plans to facilitate recovery and improve mobility.
• Instructing patients on the proper execution of therapeutic exercises and techniques designed to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Applying therapeutic methods such as stimulation, massage, and manual therapy to promote healing.
• Assisting patients in the appropriate use of mobility aids, including wheelchairs and walkers, to enhance their independence.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking progress, and documenting milestones to ensure continuity of care.
• Providing guidance to patients and families regarding in-home treatment options and exercises, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.

Our therapists work with a wide variety of patient demographics, including children and adults of all ages, each with unique diagnoses and needs. Whether recovering from surgery, managing chronic pain, or working through sports injuries, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of your patients through tailored and effective therapeutic interventions.

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills to manage patient information.
• A highly flexible and adaptable demeanor, ready to meet the varying demands of our patient population.

While we welcome therapists with varying levels of experience, candidates with at least 2 years in the field will find their skills particularly valued. This experience will enhance your ability to diagnose and treat a broader range of conditions effectively.
