Job description

The Weingarten

Events venue in Belleville is seeking a motivated team member to join our team this season!
Responsibilities:
- Work independently and as part of a team to set/flip event spaces.
- Assisting bar staff
- bus tables and helping guests during an event
- Keep event areas clean, organized and ready for touring/hosting clients.
- Follow and enforce the rules and practices established by the Operations manager and Event Coordinators
- Must have communication skills to connect front and back of house.
Qualifications:
- IL SERVSafe Food Handler’s Certification required
- IL Food Allergen Certification preferred
- Time management skills, self-starter & team player
- Must be available weekends and open to 5-shifts minimum per week
- Must be physically able to carry/lift 50lbs of weight
- Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time
- Must have a drivers license to operate on-site vehicles
- Ability to calmly manage competing priorities
- Communicate well with multiple levels of management,  and ownership regarding the status of upcoming events,  issues and daily upkeep
* Full-time hours available - flexibility with daytime & evening work is preferred.
