What is Batbox?
Whether you're stepping into one of our flagship venues or swinging at a licensed partner location, you're part of something bigger. Batbox is where real gameplay meets real connection. Powered by cutting-edge tech and a passion for play, we’re building a baseball ecosystem that brings people together across cities, countries, and continents. The plate is yours - step up and own it.
Who We’re Looking For
Based in our flagship Batbox location in Addison, Texas and reporting to the Director of Venue Operations (with a dotted line to the VP of Marketing), we’re looking for an Event Sales Manager who knows how to build relationships, close business, and bring energy to every interaction.
This is a role for someone who thrives on momentum - someone who is just as comfortable building a pipeline as they are closing a deal and delivering an exceptional guest experience. You’ll play a key role in driving event sales at Batbox, owning the full sales cycle from first touchpoint through to execution, and helping us build a reputation as the go-to destination for group experiences.
We’re specifically looking for someone who has experience with event sales in a sportstainment or experience-driven environment - for example, Topgolf, Main Event, Puttshack, or similar. You know how to sell where play, food, and beverage come together, and how that differs from traditional hotel or fine dining event sales.
What's In It For You
  • $70K- $80K base salary
  • Earn quarterly commissions that could add up to $50,000 annually!
  • 15 days PTO annually
  • Batbox Venue Discount
  • Medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefit options

  • Drive Sales & Build Strategic Partnerships: Drive event sales by generating leads through targeted outreach, community networking, and strategic partnerships with hotels, tourism bureaus, and local businesses. Partner with the Director of Venue Operations and Marketing to align PR and sales strategy, secure new and repeat bookings through multiple channels, and share market, competitor, and guest insights to keep the pipeline strong.
  • Close Event Sales: Consistently close high-value private event and venue buyout sales by leading prospects from inquiry through contract execution, upsells, and final confirmation.
  • Own the Numbers: Own event revenue by building annual sales goals and quotas, tracking performance and expenses to protect profitability, and delivering weekly pacing updates on bookings and cancellations. Grow per-event value through strategic upsells across food, beverage, and gaming packages.
  • The Details & Execution: Manage all event bookings and contracts through our platform with accuracy, consistency, and zero missed details. Champion roadmaps and action plans for Event Sales, leading related initiatives to level up the guest experience during private events and venue buy-outs.
  • Sales Material Strategy: Collaborates with marketing on the creation and effectiveness of all event sales decks and presentation materials.
  • Powered by People: You will lead, coach, and support the development of the  in-house Event Sales Coordinator and will be an integral part of the venue leadership team.
