Job description

AWS Global Events is seeking a Sr. Event Program Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of select AWS Summits and 1P Cohort events across the Americas region. This role is responsible for end-to-end ownership of assigned large-scale, multi-day events that drive customer engagement, pipeline generation, and brand awareness for Amazon Web Services.
You will operate as a strategic leader and hands-on executor - defining the event vision, managing cross-functional stakeholders, driving operational excellence, and delivering exceptional attendee experiences at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Program Management
- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned Flagship 1P events in North & South America porfolio
- Develop comprehensive program strategies aligned with business objectives
- Create and maintain detailed project timelines with clear milestones and deliverables
- Drive innovation in program execution and delivery methods
- Lead onsite execution of assigned events with the portfolio

- Manage complex, high-visibility programs with significant scope and investment
