We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Senior Catering Sales Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success at two Marriott brand hotesl and two independent brand hotels in downtown Rochester.

Job Summary:The Area Senior Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving catering sales, building client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events. This role involves generating new business, managing existing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, event planning, and hospitality, with a passion for creating outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve catering sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive sales efforts, including networking, prospecting, and cold calling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct site visits, tours, and client meetings to showcase our event spaces and catering capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to create customized menus that meet client needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals and contracts, negotiating terms to maximize revenue.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote Kahler Hospitality Group.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details using Delphi and CI/TY.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in catering sales or event planning, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $70,000.00/Yr. - $85,000.00/Yr. based on qualifications and experience.
