Job Summary
Summary: As an Executive Catering Manager, you will be responsible for planning and delivering exceptional catering for executive leadership, board members, and other high-level groups. You will act as executive liaison for existing and future clients and work towards building strong relationships. The ideal candidate demonstrates hospitality expertise, discretion, and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates caterings for executive board meetings, VIP clients, and other high-level functions.
  • Primary point-of-contact for executive and development office events team.
  • Works with the Chef in creating menus for specific client preferences.
  • Trains catering associates in high standards of service, presentation, and food safety.
  • Manages event budgets, food costs, and labor targets.
  • Utilizes CaterTrax software to create banquet event orders.
  • Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 4 years of food service experience including 2 years at the management level.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Catering experience is required.
  • Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification.
