Job description

Ultradent Products is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Global Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of various external and internal global marketing events, such as exhibitions, industry events and Trade partner events. This role will also be the central point of contact and resource to support the Global regions in the design, planning and execution of regional events.

The Global Events Manager will be key in enhancing our brand visibility, supporting sales, and building relationships with partners, customers, and key stakeholders. You will manage all aspects of event planning, logistics, communications, budget oversight, and promotional activities, ensuring alignment with the Ultradent Products brand. Your leadership will elevate attendee engagement and ensure flawless execution from start to finish. A truly global mindset is critical in this role to ensure regional intricacies are considered and incorporated into the planning process.

Global Events Responsibilities:

  • Manage responsibilities for a number of high profile global events with regional execution support ensuring collaborative guidance is provided and strategy for the event is understood.
  • Develop and maintain event planning best practices: Pre-event walkthroughs, clear communication during the event, after action reviews leading to process improvements, etc., all to ensure consistent, high-quality experiences delivered within assigned budgets.
  • Event Strategy Development: Create and implement a global events strategy that aligns with Ultradent's objectives, enhances brand visibility, and drives lead generation.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Plan, organize, and manage all logistics for a variety of Global Events ensuring seamless execution from conception to completion.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and partners to secure venues, catering, technology, and other resources, negotiating contracts to maximize value and minimize costs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, category management and regional teams to ensure event goals are aligned with overall business objectives and messaging. Work with creative service teams / agency on messaging, artwork and promotional materials for events including but not limited to, email campaigns, social media, communications including pre and post meeting notices.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring events are delivered within financial constraints.
  • On-Site Management: Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, registration, and execution, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for attendees.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Evaluate the success of events through feedback and metrics, providing reports to stakeholders and making recommendations for future improvements.
  • Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador at events, engaging with attendees and promoting our software security solutions.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in event management to continuously enhance our event offerings.

Global Events Centre of Excellence:

  • With entrepreneurial experience and mindset, able to build and guide the development of the global marketing events department based on past experience.
  • Provide support and guidance to regional teams with their local events and tradeshows in all facets of event planning, development and metric design.
  • Work with the Global Director Marketing to align on the branding of all major global and regional event types.
  • Work with creative services team &/or Agency to design brand guides for all major events. Including global and regionally executed events to ensure corporate as well as consistent branding is used for each event type.

What we're looking for in you:

  • 5-7+ years of event planning experience is ideal
  • Bachelor's degree in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or related areas
  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
  • A truly global mindset is critical, gained by working with and supporting global teams and having an appreciation for cultural differences.
  • Second language highly regarded
  • Excellent organizational, time management, logistical planning and execution skills are critical
  • Creative agency experience beneficial
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Can deliver on tight-deadlines, on-budget
  • Strong project management and critical thinking skills
  • High ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Positive and collaborative teammate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM tool, HubSpot and Cvent is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and experience in the dental or medical industry is a plus.
