About The Opportunity

This position is responsible for greeting customers and visitors with a positive, professional, and customer focused demeanor while working independently to provide a high level of administrative support across departments.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintains confidentiality and exercised discretion in handling sensitive information.

  • Screens mail as required, responds to information requests, provides necessary follow-up and/or forwards to appropriate party.

  • Serves as receptionist as required, including administering visitor registration and safety protocols as applicable and directs phone calls.

  • Schedules and coordinates meetings on site.

  • Orders supplies and food for meetings and day to day activities.

  • Files paperwork in employee files.

  • Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.

  • Participates in the employee engagement committee efforts.

  • Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Track and verify employee training/qualification.

  • Assist with timekeeping and verification.

  • Plan and prepare for operational visits and events, new hire onboarding and training.

  • Create, update, post to TVs and distribute announcements, quarterly newsletters, information, etc.

  • This position requires proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • At least 6 months of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Knowledge of and ability to manage the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the function or department.

  • Knowledge of processes, tools and services for managing the acquisition, maintenance and dissemination of physical and electronic information.

  • Ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.

  • Knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available at the desktop (e.g., word processing, e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets).

  • Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers or workstations.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting.

  • Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing/walking may be required.
