Job description

SUMMARY
The Events & Experience Assistant will work under the Experience Producer to provide support to the planning and execution of all Victory Church special events and services. This role is uniquely invested in all the stages of creating a Victory Experience, from ideation to execution on the day of. Each event brings an opportunity to be creative, while also managing administrative duties. This position is perfect for someone seeking to grow in the Creative field as an Event Planner or Project Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate event details under the supervision of the Experience Producer.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Assist in tracking event related expenses.
  • Take an inventory, then, create a system for check in / out of church décor supply closet.
  • Use problem solving skills to overcome challenges while maintaining the integrity of the experience.
  • Run errands and help with set up to ensure a successful event.
  • Collaborate with Media Team for branding, marketing, and content creation.
  • Train as a Service Coordinator to assist Pastors and Leadership Team during weekend services, as needed.
  • Assist with service planning, as needed.
  • Participate in Creative Team meetings for events & services, taking notes to organize ideas into a prioritization timeline.
  • Provide support to the environment of the lobby at Victory Church.
  • Follow up with applicable ministry teams regarding their involvement in specific event related projects.
  • Function as an administrative & communications assistant to the Experience Producer as it relates to event and service responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Event Planning and/or Project Management. Advanced knowledge in the administrative skills.
  • Relevant knowledge for current trends and event design.
  • Exceptional creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with excellence in a fast paced, creative environment.
