Job description

Administrative & Events Assistant

Job Description:
Thisposition reports to the Director of Event Management.  As a member of theEvent Management team, the Administrative & Events Assistant coordinatesevent services with University Service Departments and outside vendors; andacts as the primary point of contact for customer service inquiries, includingmanaging incoming phone calls and emails.  This position maintainsprofessional relationships within the Boston College community, includingstudents, faculty, and staff, as well as all external clients andvendors.  The Assistant utilizes and applies event management technologyto create accurate event records; and consistently prioritizes services toensure events are planned and executed in a timely manner.  Assists otheremployees with job functions in their absence; and is able to work weekends,evenings, and holidays, as business levels require.
