What You'll Do as an Activity Aide:
  • Plan and lead group and individual activities for residents
  • Encourage participation in games, music, crafts, exercise, and social events
  • Assist with seasonal celebrations, decorating, and special events
  • Document attendance and participation for care plan compliance
  • Build positive relationships with residents and families

Qualifications of an Activity Aide:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Compassionate and positive attitude
  • Experience in long-term care activities preferred & activity certification a plus!
  • Must be able to work every other weekend and some holidays
