Summary
This position is responsible for entry level repairs and service across a wide array of electrical/mechanical equipment. Works on assignments that are moderatelty difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows a in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Atlanta, GA.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Repair, inspect and maintain rental inventory of electric chain hoists, winches, and other electrical/mechanical equipment
  • Repair, inspect and maintain electric chain hoists as a service for other companies in the entertainment and tradeshow industries
  • Reconfigure chain hoists in rental inventory as required by rental demand
  • Communicate regularly with Service Manager regarding maintenance concerns, repair parts inventory, and product improvements
  • Interpret exploded views, electrical data, and wiring diagrams
  • Assist in essential duties and responsibilities as defined in job description for Equipment Inspector
  • Attend production meetings as required
  • Designate tasks to all hoist technicians on a daily basis
  • Determine daily workflow for all hoist technicians

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, Associatees Degree Preferred
  • Certificate of Completion or Degree from accredited college or trade school related to the field of electronics is preferred
  • Preferred 1-2 years of related experience within rigging production and/or warehouse operations

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must maintain a valid state driver's license
Various Industry Standard Certifications Preferred (examples include):
  • CETa
  • ETCP
  • ISF
