itD is seeking a Marketing Events Coordinator to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic partner marketing events while driving operational excellence across event programs. This role will support Client Industrial marketing events through event logistics, cross-functional coordination, and event promotion support.
The role will partner with event owners, partner marketing, sales, communications, web, and social stakeholders to keep event execution organized from planning through post-event follow-up. The goal is to improve execution discipline, strengthen event promotion, and ensure Industrial events are delivered with clear ownership, coordinated communications, and measurable follow-through.

Summary: Marketing Coordinator contractor supporting Silicon Valley Tech Giant's Industrial marketing events and GTM programs. Expected schedule is 40 hours/week, no OT. Ideal candidate will possess strong event logistics, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder communication, and event promotion experience across email, social, and web.

Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating B2B events, including in-person events, webinars, virtual panels, roadshows, customer engagements, partner programs, or executive events.
  • Strong event logistics and project management skills, including timeline management, registration support, run of show coordination, speaker readiness, vendor/platform logistics, and stakeholder follow-up.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across marketing, sales, partner, web, social, and communications stakeholders.
  • Ability to support event promotion across key channels, including email, social, web, partner communications, and internal stakeholder updates.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple event workstreams at once.Proven experience coordinating large-scale events, experiential marketing initiatives, or program management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex project plans with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, including experience working with distributed or global teams.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify risks proactively and develop solutions before issues impact project delivery.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, reports, and project updates.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience supporting enterprise technology, industrial, IoT, networking, OT/security, SaaS, or B2B marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with event promotion workflows, including promotion calendars, email briefs, social copy coordination, web updates, and campaign handoffs.
  • Comfort maintaining trackers for event timelines, action items, promotion status, stakeholder decisions, and post-event follow-up.
  • Experience supporting lead-generation or nurture events, including post-event reporting and follow-up coordination.
  • Experience supporting partner marketing or field marketing programs.
  • Familiarity with event governance frameworks and operational intake processes.
  • Experience managing event calendars, documentation repositories, or knowledge management resources.
  • Experience developing project trackers and operational workflows from the ground up.
  • Experience supporting executive communications and stakeholder presentations.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
