Wedding Floral Designer & Event Installer | A Divine Event (Design Studio) by Wedgewood Weddings

Location: Based in Norcross, GA
Schedule: Part-Time, Event-Based Schedule
Typical Shifts: Weekday production shifts with weekend installation availability required

Pay Range: $20-$25 Based on industry experience

Wedgewood Weddings is looking for an Floral Designer & Event Installer to help produce and install floral designs for weddings and special events across our Atlanta-area venues.

This is a hands-on floral production and installation role for someone with floral design experience who is ready to grow in a fast-paced wedding and event environment. You will assist with creating wedding florals, preparing product for events, organizing supplies, supporting installations, and ensuring each floral piece is clean, polished, and event-ready.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with their hands, staying productive, and bringing floral designs to life through careful execution. You have a good eye for color, texture, and composition, and you understand that successful events depend on preparation, organization, cleanliness, timing, and attention to detail.

This role is a great fit for someone who has some professional floral experience and wants to continue building their wedding and event design skills while working alongside an experienced production and installation team.

Key ResponsibilitiesFloral Design & Production
  • Create and assist with wedding and event floral designs according to approved recipes, design notes, timelines, and production direction.
  • Design and support production of floral pieces such as:
    • Centerpieces
    • Bud vases
    • Ceremony florals
    • Corsages and boutonnieres
    • Small accent arrangements
    • Bridesmaid bouquets
    • Bridal bouquets, depending on experience level
  • Maintain floral quality, freshness, and presentation standards throughout production.
  • Follow floral recipes, color palettes, mechanics, and design standards consistently.
  • Work efficiently while maintaining clean mechanics, balanced designs, and polished presentation.
Event Installation Support
  • Assist with wedding and event installations at Wedgewood Weddings venues.
  • Place centerpieces, candles, personal flowers, ceremony florals, aisle décor, signage florals, and accent pieces according to event plans.
  • Support installation of arches, arbors, urns, equipment, and larger floral pieces under the direction of a lead designer or installation lead.
  • Help ensure event spaces are clean, polished, accurate, and photo-ready before completion.
What We’re Looking For
  • Preferred: 2+ years of floral design experience.
  • Wedding, event, or production floral experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to create clean, balanced, professional floral designs with direction.
  • Good eye for color, proportion, texture, and floral composition.
  • Ability to follow recipes, timelines, design notes, and production standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to jump in where needed.
  • Ability to receive feedback and continue developing floral design and installation skills.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30–40 lbs.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in event conditions.
  • Comfortable using ladders up to 15 feet when needed and properly trained.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred.
  • Must be comfortable driving company vans if assigned driving responsibilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years old for company vehicle driving responsibilities.
Schedule Requirements

This is a part-time, event-based role. Production shifts typically fall during the week based on the event schedule, with many shifts occurring Wednesday through Friday.

As is typical in the hospitality and wedding industry, this position requires weekend availability. Some shifts may be longer than 8 hours depending on event needs.
