Description
As an Account Executive of EventWorks, you will manage and expand existing accounts while actively pursuing new local business opportunities. This outside sales role is instrumental in driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales and relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the event rental industry, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. This position offers the potential to advance to Senior Account Executive and National Account Executive levels based on performance and account growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Account Management & Customer Relationships: Maintain and grow existing accounts by understanding client needs, driving satisfaction, and providing tailored solutions. Serve as a trusted advisor and ensure seamless communication with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • New Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue new local business opportunities. Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Awareness & Strategy: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Provide insights to management for improving products, services, and client solutions.
  • CRM & Reporting: Track sales activity, leads, and account updates in the CRM system. Provide regular sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with operations, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure successful delivery of events.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales, business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the event rental or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategy.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during client meetings and presentations.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 25-30 lbs (samples, marketing materials, or event items).
  • Ability to walk in event or warehouse environments to inspect setups as needed.
  • Local or national travel for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
