Job Summary:
Merge IT is seeking a Program Manager to work onsite in Redmond, WA, for an enterprise-level client. The role involves interfacing with clients, driving program schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
• Interface with clients on technical and business issues from project initiation through delivery.
• Drive program/project schedules and status reports.
• Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented.
• Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information.
• Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Develop, track and manage BI project budget, project plans, timelines and scope.
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams.
• Prepare and present usage reporting; PowerBI experience required.
• Communicate project status and proposed program strategies with senior stake holders, researchers and others.
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized.
• Make presentations to researchers and project sponsors.
• Facilitate program onboarding, and ongoing program service for 100-150 researchers.
• Create and facilitate events for 10-50 professors and researchers.
• Documentation creation experience a plus.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5-7 years of experience required
• Deep project & program management experience required with strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize across varying workstream types
• Develop, track and manage BI project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
• Prepare and present usage reporting; PowerBI experience required
• Communicate project status and proposed program strategies with senior stake holders, researchers and others
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
• Make presentations to researchers and project sponsors
• Facilitate program onboarding, and ongoing program service for 100-150 researchers
• Create and facilitate events for 10-50 professors and researchers
Preferred:
• Prior roles engaging with universities and external customers or partners is preferred
• Ability to work with and understand different types of data is preferred
