Event Production Assistant

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have communication and interpersonal skills necessary to engage with management, coworkers from all departments, vendors, and clients at all levels.
  • Be comfortable in a multi-task environment with frequent interruptions, short deadlines, and sometimes a high degree of pressure.
  • Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, service, and hospitality.
  • Deliver exceptional client care before, during, and after the event.
  • Possesses professional poise in written and verbal communication, as well as personal presentation. 
  • Provide general Production Assistance to an assigned Event Manager, as well as to the Event Management team, and Director of Event Management when needed.
  • Full production assistance to include (but not limited to): rental management, event load-ins and set-ups, vendor management, permitting, event diagram creation, check requests, event summary document creation, database maintenance, attendance at site inspections, and preparation of documents for final billing.
  • Actively seek to learn all the skills and habits of a successful Event Manager
  • Works a flexible schedule which includes events on nights and weekends frequently.
  • Be able to read, write, and speak in the dominant language of the Event Production department (English).
  • Possess excellent basic math skills.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
