JOB TYPE: Full Time

SALARY/WAGE: Starting at $65,000/year (commensurate upon experience)

JOB SUMMARY:

The Agency is assisting Evergreen Park in the recruitment of an Assistant Sales & Events Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

Evergreen Park is the largest full-featured exhibition facility in Northern Alberta, offering a wide variety of events and experiences rooted in community, agriculture, and entertainment. With versatile event spaces and a strong reputation for hosting memorable events, Evergreen Park provides an exciting and fast-paced environment.

This role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of events while assisting with sales, client relations, and marketing initiatives. It is ideal for an energetic, organized individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and thrives in a customer-focused, event-driven setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to event inquiries and conduct venue tours for clients
  • Collect and organize event details for bookings and coordination
  • Support event planning, setup, execution, and takedown activities
  • Assist with on-site event troubleshooting and operational needs
  • Input and manage event details in scheduling and management systems
  • Support invoicing by providing event details to accounting
  • Order and manage event supplies and materials
  • Assist with staff scheduling and provide direction to banquet and concession teams
  • Support daily communication between staff and management
  • Assist with marketing and promotion of events and facility rentals
  • Identify opportunities to increase bookings and revenue
  • Maintain accurate event listings, menus, and promotional materials
  • Attend meetings and contribute to operational planning and coordination

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or food and beverage operations considered an asset
