About The Role

Reporting to Experience Process and Delivery Lead, the Event Manager cares for the details, for the people in the room, and for the experience they take away. The Event Manager/ Producer brings this to life by thoughtfully planning and executing programs that reflect our values, elevate our brand, and Produce Greatness. From the first invitation to the final goodbye, this role ensures that every touchpoint is intentional, inclusive, and infused with exceptional quality, creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.


As our Event Manager, you will:

  • Plan and execute all operational aspects of events, including venue coordination, hotel and travel logistics, F&B, registration, staffing, and documentation.
  • Oversee attendee communications across all stages of the program, from invitation and travel planning to onsite support and follow-up.
  • Design logistics strategies that prioritize accessibility, inclusivity, and cultural sensitivity for diverse attendee groups.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, track budgets, and ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and international travel requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate creative theming, engagement moments, and event tech solutions that elevate the guest experience.
  • Lead onsite execution with calm professionalism and care, ensuring every detail is accounted for and every guest feels supported.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex logistics and competing priorities
  • Excellent communicator and natural collaborator, with a client-first mindset, with industry knowledge and experience of standard practises.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a calm, solutions-oriented approach onsite and off, with the ability to prioritize both big picture and detailed tasks.
  • Deep understanding of attendee flow and design, space planning, inventory management, air, rail and ground transportation, and signage/wayfinding planning.
  • Confident managing budgets, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring operational compliance and fiscal responsibility.


Education/Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience managing large-scale, complex corporate events or conferences
  • Demonstrated experience in attendee logistics, conference services, and hospitality
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Event Planning, Hospitality & Tourism, Production, or a related discipline
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused, and service-driven environment
  • CMP certification or equivalent is an asset
