Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager
(Ideal for individuals with management experience in: facilities operations, hospitality, retail, public space administration.)
Salary: $80K, plus annual incentive (paid weekly, free uniforms, great benefits)
Must live in/within 30 minutes commute to downtown Montgomery AL, no exceptions.

Are you a leader with 5-7 years of experience in facilities operations management, groundskeeping/janitorial, hospitality/tourism management, event management, or public spaces administration? Block by Block is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee one of our Ambassador programs. This role requires advanced client relationship management skills to manage daily district program operations and deliver continual program improvements. We're looking for someone with strong managerial skills, a great work ethic, experience supervising a team of employees, and a passion for creating a great experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Hiring and training a positive, skilled, and dependable team.
  • Adjusting the deployment of resources to match changing needs.
  • Identifying and solving problems to improve program quality.
  • Procuring and managing inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Reporting outcomes through various channels (spreadsheets, Kronos Timekeeping, Budgets).
