POSITION: Ticket Taker- Usher
REPORTS TO: Box Office Manager
DEPARTMENT: Sales
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt/ Part- Time
POSITION SUMMARY: Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has immediate openings at the Albuquerque Convention Center/KIVA Auditorium/ SPARK Sports Complex. Under general direction collects tickets, greet and assist guests at events including answering questions that arise. This position represents the facility with outstanding friendly custom service greeting and assisting guest at events. Will also assist guests answering questions that arise and will report problems or concerns to appropriate department. We require an individual to have great customer service skills, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn and work in a team atmosphere.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive all guests with outstanding friendly customer service.
  • Answer general questions about the arena and provide assistance when needed.
  • Assist Event Manager when needed.
  • Verifies date of tickets and authenticity of passes.
  • Takes and tears tickets.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Greet guests in a friendly manner and be professional at all times.
  • Stay calm under pressure.
  • Use radio devices.
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced diverse environment
  • Convey strong verbal & interpersonal skills.
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time.
  • Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed.
  • Separates tickets according to types.
  • Informs guests of rules and regulations regarding items prohibited in the Convention Center.
  • Refuses admittance to guests without a ticket.
