Do you thrive on bringing people together through exceptional events? Are you energized by creating environments where people can encounter God, build relationships, and experience genuine hospitality? Willow Creek Community Church is looking for an Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of impactful ministry events and mission-aligned facility rentals across our campuses.


In this role, you'll play an important part in everything from large-scale church events on holidays and wrap-around event weekends, to hosting outside facility rentals like concerts and conferences and executing community outreach events, ensuring every guest experiences excellence and Christ-centered hospitality. You'll also recruit, coach, and lead a team of Welcome Hosts and volunteers who help make every event memorable.


What You'll Do
  • Support the planning and execution of ministry events, lead out on execution of external facility rentals and maintain community partner relationships.
  • Create exceptional guest experiences through intentional hospitality.
  • Recruit, develop, and care for event volunteers.
  • Manage, train and support campus Welcome Hosts as they make lasting first impressions at the building’s main entrance and are the eyes and ears of the Church.
  • Partner with ministries and operational teams to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage event logistics, budgets, scheduling, and day-of operations.
