Kenneth Copeland Ministries hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year from large, in-person conferences to more intimate regional events, and periodic virtual gatherings. The Event Marketing Lead is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing event-driven marketing initiatives to support all KCM event types. The primary priority of the Event Marketing Lead is to increase attendance and participation across all events. The Event Marketing Lead plays a vital role within the Marketing department as this position works closely with the development, digital, and creative teams to review project priorities, deliverables, timing, and budget.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing activities to maximize engagement.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and plans to achieve attendance goals for each assigned event.
  • Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for assigned expense lines with accountability for driving registration revenue for assigned consumer events.
  • Create and maintain master schedule of all key marketing tasks, activities, and deadlines and be responsible for making sure that deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to establish the design direction for each event campaign, ensure consistent design and messaging representation.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of event materials including print and online advertising, direct mail pieces, email promotions, social media, event websites, press releases, television and radio ads, and all other appropriate outlets.
  • Partner with internal teams on the development and maintenance of assigned event websites, include pre-registration tracking.
  • Develop tracking mechanisms to determine the success of all elements in the campaign including registrations, engagement, and lead quality.
  • Coordinate look and feel of KCM events, working with Events Team to ensure brand standards are met.
  • Create post-event reports including insights and recommendations to inform future strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Requirements:

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s (4 year) degree in advertising, communications, marketing or event management preferred.
  • 3-5 years event marketing experience and multi-channel marketing experience required.
  • Must have 3+ years leading, managing and executing event marketing programs for a large organization or brand.
  • Demonstrable experience managing marketing databases, web, email, and advertising campaigns.
  • Experience with industry-relevant marketing tools: Hubspot, Marketo, AvidAI, or similar.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate to act.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in event marketing and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics.
  • Previous working experience with ministries is desirable but not required.
  • Must have proven project management experience managing multiple projects with firm due dates.
  • Attention to detail and verbal accuracy is highly important.
  • Must have experience working with other teams, agencies and vendors.
  • Must have experience in translating business objectives into winning digital campaigns that generated measurable ROI.
  • Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive working relationships.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial aptitude and be solution focused.
