Job description

Kona Ice Northwest DFW is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. As the Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in client relations and booking events. If you are a skilled communicator with exceptional organizational abilities, we invite you to apply.


Key Responsibilities:

Client Correspondence: Engage with clients through phone calls, emails, and texts to address inquiries, provide pricing information, distribute event questionnaire links, and manage event bookings utilizing our Kona calendar.

Event Forms Management: Efficiently process completed event forms from Wufoo, integrate them into our scheduling program, confirmation emails, and create and distribute event flyers as required. Manage special requests such as personalized goody bags for guests.

Assistance and Support: Provide on-site assistance during events as needed, address employee inquiries, troubleshoot logistical challenges, and contribute to the seamless execution of events.

Miscellaneous Duties: Collaborate on ad-hoc tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.


Required Qualifications/Skills:

Professionalism: Maintain a clean driving record, background, and negative drug test results.Must be willing and able to work on a truck when needed.

Communication Excellence: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, fostering positive client relationships. Strong computer skills are a must.

Detail-Oriented: Demonstrate meticulous data entry skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain focused on tasks.

Time Management: Exhibit effective time management skills to ensure efficient handling of responsibilities.


PLEASE NOTE: The EVENT COORDINATOR position is 90% at a computer in the office. It is not out in the field coordinating events that our trucks are attending. This position is handling client communications (phone & email) and BOOKING events on behalf of Kona Ice and Travelin' Tom's Coffee trucks.


Compensation and Benefits:

This is starting as a part-time (at least 20+ hours/week), in-office position in the afternoons/evenings & weekends. Compensation starts at $18.00.
