Part-time - 20+ hours/week for 14 weeks
Pay: $22.00/hour
Hourly - Non-Exempt

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grace is a multi-site, non-denominational church committed to providing a workplace that equips undergraduates with the opportunity to gain experience in church communications, operations, event management, and project planning.

The Project Management Intern will work side by side with the Communications/Marketing Department and NXT Students Ministry to plan the Stand to Reason Student Reality Conference at Grace Church. The internship timeframe is August 17 โ€“ November 19.ย 

  • Assist the current Event Manager in managing and implementing Reality Conference-related tasks and duties.
  • Attend regular Reality Conference team meetings.
  • Utilize church software systems for organizing database information, scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
  • Handle financial details, including check requests, check deposits, budget recording, plus concessions funds withdrawal and deposit.
  • Execute Reality Conference set up and tear down duties as directed.
  • Serve as point of contact for conference communication, including in-person registration, guest services, and management of attendee communication during the conference.
  • Consistent collaboration with the Event Manager on Event Schedule, status updates, vendor relations, and guest enrollment.
  • Work with Digital Content Coordinator on social media content creation to drive event awareness.
  • Other duties as assigned by Reality Conference Event Manager.

PROFESSIONAL AND SPIRITUAL EXPECTATIONS:
  • A minimum of 60 college credits from a reputable university.
  • Actively pursuing college major in Project Management, Event Planning, Communication, Business, or related focus.
  • Extremely self-motivated in starting, continuing, and concluding tasks/ projects.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proven ability to be a team player.ย 
  • Live a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.
  • Exhibit a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit and active participation in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20).
