Description:

This position will provide general support to the advancement office with priority for the vice president, senior director of development and engagement, and director of marketing and communications. It is a part time position, working 20 hours/week.

  • Workflow may include, but is not limited to, calendar management, travel and itineraries, contact reports, presentations, document management, mail distribution, and some budget management such as loading invoices and processing credit card statements.
  • Learn internal systems (example: CRM Advance database) to support work of advancement including communication plans (lists, reports)
  • Manage DocuSign process for donors, contracts and internal filing.
  • Engage with alumni, donors and guests with a spirit of hospitality during signature college events such as Homecoming and also personalized visits to campus.
  • Assist with identified special projects and donor events including pre-event and live event logistics, onsite hosting and post-event follow up.
  • Assist with and mentor student employees including scheduling work hours, detailing projects and reviewing hours.
  • Provide appropriate attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to manage electronic communication workflow.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.

Part time schedule negotiable, 20 hours/week.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma and two years of effective, related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Professional communication skills, organizational skills and time management skills
