Fantasee Lighting is a theatrical lighting rental company based in Metro-Detroit, which provides lighting, rigging, and effects rentals for a large variety of live events from corporate to concerts to weddings. Established in 1976, Fantasee Lighting continues to strive to provide exceptional customer service from quote to gear return and beyond, and to provide a place of employment people want to be in.

Job Summary

As a key member of the Installations & Service team, the Installations Project Manager will report to the Operations Manager and assume a strategic role in the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and execution of installations ensuring consistency with company standards, commitments, and goals. 

The Installations Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Installations & Service team with equipment specifications and ordering, drawings, crew scheduling, etc.  By providing pre-installation and on site management, they contribute to a quality experience and ensure the highest standards of excellence.  This requires extensive knowledge of the equipment we install as well as what an installation process looks like.  As the person that implements shows and designs, the Project Manager must maintain a good and positive working relationship with the client. 

General responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Assist with going through quote requirements and specifying, preparing gear lists for ordering

·         Assist with coordination of installation technicians, managing equipment ordering, delivery, and installation

·         Communicate with clients, account managers, and technicians

·         Assist the Installations & Service Team, as well as the Operations Manager when not on a specific project 

Job Qualifications

·         High level of technical knowledge and service/installation of lighting and rigging systems

·         Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working shows, managing crews, and solving problems 

·         Bachelor’s Degree in an associated field is preferred 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

·         System design and implementation 

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite 

·         Strong written and verbal skills 

·         Excellent organizational skills 

·         Ability to respond to client needs in a positive manner while maintaining a professional demeanor 

·         Team Player who strives for continuous improvement 

·         Flexible, professional with a positive energy and strong work ethic to meet the needs of this client-driven business 

Compensation

·         $45,000 - $55,000 Annual Salary, DOE

·         PTO, Health & Life Insurance available after 60 days of Full Time Hours

·         401(k) with employer match available after 1 year
