Job description

Price Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing US Events Team, located in the Suwanee, Georgia office and manufacturing facility. Working alongside and under direction of the Events Manager, the Events Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with team members to manage all aspects of scheduled events, training classes, customer visits, and promotional activities - from pre-planning, logistics, branding, on-site execution, post-event reset, and data entry. This position requires a detail-oriented, exceptionally organized go-getter to support a robust events calendar and communicate effectively with both internal cross-functional teams and external customers. The candidate should have an appreciation for special events management and outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Prepare agendas, welcome letters, nametags, marketing materials, gift bags, registration lists, binders, and other event materials.
• Assist in keeping events email inbox and calendar up to date with assigned upcoming events.
• Collect, track, and respond to attendee requests as received.
• Secure necessary accommodations, meeting room space, organize transportation, and arrange daily food and beverage.
• Provide support in booking and confirming entertainment/recreational activities based on the specific event.
• Order and restock event supplies and manage event signage/product banners for our Suwanee office. This will include managing communications with the Sales Team and tracking product banners as they are shipped to and from off-site events.
• Assist with on-site execution, greeting guests, and act as a host to attendee needs or special requests. On-site execution includes, but is not limited to, stocking fridges, arranging snack baskets, brewing coffee, and working alongside the cleaning service and maintenance staff to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of the facility are up to standard.
• General administrative support which may include collecting, tracking, and completing data entry as requested (ex: preparing an event budget proposal, updating upcoming event details on shared spreadsheets, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Sales Team and Learning & Development Team on an overall strategy for events, alongside and with direction from the Events Manager.
• Support special projects as required.
• Assume and perform other duties and responsibilities not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position, as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Must have 1+ year(s) of prior experience as an Events Coordinator/Events Assistant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Platforms (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Prior experience in email marketing software is considered an asset (ex: HubSpot, MS Forms, etc.).
• Prior experience in scheduling and assisting in production of large-scale events is considered an asset.
• Excellent attention to detail, writing and communication skills, with capability to multi-task efficiently.
• Demonstrate professionalism and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to lift ~30 lbs.
• Dependable transportation for required shopping or guest pick-ups.
• Ability to travel, on occasion, throughout the US and Canada.
