Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Marketing Events

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Expected start date to end date: July 2026 - July 2027

What you’ll do

The Event Intern will play a key role in supporting our Marketing Content and Engagement team in promoting and executing global third party events as well as our user community event in Las Vegas in October of 2026. The role will support the marketing team by providing assistance with events management, execution, and communication. The internship offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills.   

  • Supporting key activities and executional elements at events including show floor, break-out sessions and special programs
  • Supporting admin tasks such as weekly updates and managing back-end processes.
  • Working very closely with the communications lead and content lead to support and ensure alignment and execution of all tasks required
  • Supporting the communications strategy with web site updates and organization of content for web team
  • Assisting in pulling content from multiple places into one weekly report for marketing leadership

Tier 1 event strategy is managed by the Content and Engagement team for the Spend Management and Finance line of business under the office of the CMO. This is a diverse team with experienced marketers in four countries. Multiple team members are based in Atlanta and will work with this role on-site.
