• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and screenings through virtual platforms to accurately evaluate patient needs and tailor individualized treatment plans.
• Provide short-term individual counseling sessions, specializing in crisis intervention for patients dealing with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Facilitate engaging online therapy groups and workshops that foster community support and address essential topics related to personal development and emotional well-being.
• Establish collaborations with local hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, involving integrated treatment strategies.
• Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and removing stigma through virtual campaigns and community events.
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation and patient records to comply with ethical and legal standards, using electronic health record systems efficiently.

You will primarily work with a diverse client population representing various demographics and backgrounds. Many of our patients experience complex emotional and psychological challenges, often influenced by socioeconomic factors. Understanding their unique circumstances is essential to providing empathetic and effective care.

• Current active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; Master’s or Doctoral degrees are preferred.
• A comprehensive understanding of the mental health landscape specific to community health settings, with a focus on hospital patients.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to forge strong relationships with patients and effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in evidence-based intervention strategies and brief therapy methods relevant to a community health framework.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic setting, efficiently managing a diverse caseload while remaining organized and prioritizing effectively.

• Two or more years of clinical experience in counseling or mental health services, preferably within a community health setting.
• Experience with telehealth practices and virtual counseling methodologies that enhance patient accessibility and engagement.
• Demonstrated history of active participation in interdisciplinary collaboration with medical staff and community organizations.
