Veterinary Client Care Specialist | $20-$22/hr | Night or Day shift
Location: Virginia Veterinary Centers - Short Pump, VA
Full-Time | 4x10's | 2pm - 12am or 6:30am - 4:30pm | Weekends as needed

Virginia Veterinary Centers is a multi-specialty referral practice and emergency hospital caring for animals in the greater Richmond area.
We are seeking to fill a full- time Client Care Specialist position on our emergency team and we have availability on our day or evening shift.

Schedule:
  • 4 x 10 hour shifts per week
  • Night shift 2pm - 12am
  • Day shift 6:30am - 4:30pm
  • Weekends needed
Client Care Specialist Responsibilities:
  • A Receptionist Position is available for a positive, organized and compassionate team member. High volume receptionist experience desired with proficiency in multi-line phone and computer systems
  • Qualified candidates should be friendly, poised and have a client focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient typing skills and comfortable navigating digital records systems
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn how to use internal company software systems.
  • Must be well organized.
  • Ability to handle high pressure and stressful situations and events in a calm supportive manner.
  • Ability to review estimates, discuss financial options, and process payments.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates are required to have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational certificate/diploma in business or office administration preferred.
  • Experience in the veterinary or medical field is a plus.
  • Must be willing and able to days/evenings and weekends.
Based on employee interest, Veterinary Assistant Certification and/or Licensed Veterinary Technician Program Financial assistance may be available!
