Dynamic Therapeutic Clinic is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team to provide essential services to our elderly patients. As a full-time therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the emotional well-being and mental health of our geriatric population, helping to alleviate conditions such as depression, anxiety, and dementia-related disorders.

This full-time position offers flexibility through a remote work setup, allowing you to engage with clients via telehealth. You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including geriatric psychiatrists and social workers, all striving toward a common goal: improving the quality of life for our elderly patients. Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient requirements.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the unique psychological and social needs of older adults.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis intervention.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, adjusting methods as necessary to accommodate cognitive and physical health considerations.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to integrate care strategies, ensuring holistic support for each patient.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources, fostering a strong support system.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development sessions, keeping abreast of best practices in geriatric psychiatry.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, ensuring prompt care and establishing safety for elderly clients.

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, addressing various mental health challenges such as mood disorders, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment issues related to aging. This role not only requires therapeutic skills but also a deep understanding of the complexities elderly patients face, both mentally and physically.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a relevant clinical setting, ideally working with older adults.
• In-depth knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and the latest evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to establish rapport and build trust with elderly patients and their families through excellent interpersonal skills.
• Competency in using EHR systems and various computer applications to streamline patient care.
• Experience working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting.

• Demonstrated experience delivering various therapeutic interventions tailored to older adults.
• Background in crisis intervention and the ability to respond effectively in high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services available for the elderly population.
