Spence Mind Counseling Center, Inc. is actively seeking a committed and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team. In this full-time, remote position, you will engage with clients to assess their mental health needs, offer therapeutic interventions, and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at improving their overall well-being. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in addressing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, and eating disorders.

• Maintain a caseload of clients, establishing a therapeutic rapport and adhering to professional ethics while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, ensuring they meet their therapeutic goals, and assess the need for potential discharge when appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and regularly assess individual treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each client.
• Document client interactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records including progress notes, treatment adjustments, and other relevant documentation.
• Perform intake assessments to understand new clients' backgrounds and mental health histories, establishing a foundation for effective treatment.
• Participate in individual supervision sessions aimed at ongoing professional development and skill enhancement.
• Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain a growth mindset, contributing to your professional development and actively seeking feedback to enhance best practices in therapeutic interventions.

Our mental health counselors work with a diverse client population facing a range of challenges, including emotional distress, relationship issues, and acute mental health disorders. You will engage with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and cultural contexts of each individual. Your work will significantly impact their lives, contributing to improved mental health outcomes and quality of life.

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is mandatory.
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential from the State of Georgia.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required post-graduation.
• Strong communication, active listening, and critical thinking skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and interventions is preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, reflecting your experience and skills.
