Title: Director of Right-of-Way
Salary: $125,000-150,000

Position Overview
As a Director at Environmental Design Group, you will oversee and manage projects and employees within the Group. Projects may include right-of-way acquisition services, title research, right-of-way plan development, right-of-way negotiations, and field survey services related to the above tasks. This position will be responsible for these on a regional basis.
As a leader at Environmental Design Group, a Director will provide technical oversight, client management, and general oversight of the entire Group. This forward-thinking position requires a passion for the industry, strong financial acumen, and established leadership abilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field; master's degree is preferred.
- Licensed surveyor and License Engineer in the state of Ohio.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- 7+ years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent presentation skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Right-of-Way Group, aligning goals, performance metrics, and operations with the company's strategic vision.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to staff while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to integrate Right-of-Way services and ensure client satisfaction.
- Review and approve deliverables, maintain quality standards, and establish technical protocols and best practices.
- Develop and strengthen client relationships while supporting business development efforts and identifying new opportunities.
- Manage the Group's financial performance, staffing needs, resource allocation, and revenue growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, identify and mitigate project risks, and drive continuous improvement through innovation and technology adoption.
- Support the development and execution of the Group's business plan and promote the organization's mission, vision, and values.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational goals.

Physical and Travel Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Local travel during business hours may be required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurable driving record required in accordance with company insurance standards.
Supervisor Responsibility
This position will directly supervise other associates. EDG is a teaching organization and believes in the growth and development of every associate within the company.
